Hongkong and Shanghai Hotel group celebrates an epic milestone
For over 150 years, the Hongkong and Shanghai Hotel group (HSH) has taken care of its guests. And to celebrate this amazing achievement, Asia’s oldest hotel group put on quite a display outside one of its most prominent properties.
HSH celebrated the amazing achievement by throwing a spectacular event at one of its finest Peninsula hotels in Hong Kong. To celebrate 150 years of timeless tradition meets luxurious modernity, iconic giant balloons will be tethered to the Hong Kong Peninsula hotel marking this special celebration, with special guests and Government officials attending the event.
The handcrafted balloons highlight a milestone in HSH’s journey, looking back on the history and heritage of the brand to looking to the future. This beautiful event celebrates 150 years of style and elegance, both from a business perspective as well as a cultural one and will showcase why HSH’s flagship hotel in Hong Kong is the destination hotel for international travel.
The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotel Company, Limited, HSH was one of the first Companies to be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is currently the oldest registered company on the Hong Kong Companies Registry. For a century and a half, the compelling story of HSH has been closely tied to its city of origin, Hong Kong.
Today, the HSH legacy encompasses a diverse portfolio of assets worth HK$44.2 billion including ten Peninsula Hotels around the world, The Peak Tram, The Peak Tower and The Repulse Bay Complex in Hong Kong.
