The finest level of haute cuisine served by Spain’s youngest three-Michelin Star chef
Ever wondered what a Three-Michelin Star haute cuisine entails? The golden opportunity has finally arrived in Malaysia, through the pop-up restaurant, Aziamendi 88, helmed by the acclaimed Three-Michelin Star Chef Eneko Atxa. The Spanish chef will be showcasing his gastronomic genius in the restaurant hosted exclusively at Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, from now to 31 October.
Hailed as the youngest Spanish chef to be awarded the prestigious three stars, Chef Eneko of Azurmendi Restaurant, Bilbao Spain and Aziamendi Restaurant of Phang Nga, Thailand, is set to bring guests on a gastronomic adventure featuring his celebrated Northen Spanish dishes that are executed with exquisite talent and creativity. Among the awards under Chef Eneko's belt are World's 20th Chef by San Pellegrino, Sustainable Restaurant Award of the “World's 50 Best Restaurants 2014 Guide' and seventh position on Elite Traveler's 2014 “100 Best Restaurants in the World” list.
Joining him is a team of professional chefs, including his protege Chef Alex Burger who constantly reinvents Aziamendi's menu and creative concepts, incorporating his French, Spanish and Basque culinary experience with a touch of Asian accents.
The haute cuisine is available for lunch and dinner everyday except Sundays. For lunch, menus are priced at RM198 per person for five-courses and RM438 per person for eight-courses. Dinner menus are priced at RM438 per person for eight-courses and RM598 per person for 12-courses. Wine pairing menus are also available at a starting price of RM298 per person.
