Landmark Mandarin Oriental & Diageo Reserve
The collective minds at both Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and Diageo have recreated PDT (Please Don’t Tell), the legendary New York speakeasy, which holds the distinction of being one of the world’s best bars. The PDT pop-up bar is set to offer the best F&B offerings from the iconic East Village bar, which includes a hotdog stand serving specially created hot dogs made by Hong Kong’s finest chefs as well as iconic cocktails prepared by Jim Meehan, bartender, founder of PDT, author of the PDT Cocktail Book, and Jeff Bell, current General Manager of PDT and World Class USA Bartender of the Year 2013. Guests can access the PDT pop-up bar via a hidden entrance in a phone booth located upstairs at the MO Bar from 5-30 January 2016.
Jamie Cullum & St. Regis
Combining jazz and high-end luxury, St. Regis is adding a new dimension to their hospitality offering by adding renowned artist Jamie Cullum as its newest connoisseur. The Jazz-Pop Singer-Songwriter joins Georgina Chapman, Keren Craig, and Nacho Figueras as ambassador for the ultra-luxury hospitality brand. In his role as brand ambassador, Cullum will continue to lead the much buzzed about Jazz Legends at St. Regis series, which to date has brought intimate yet electric jazz performances at several St. Regis properties across the globe. He is also set to perform future dates at St. Regis Hotels in Dubai, Macao, Osaka, Singapore and Washington D.C in the coming year as well. Additionally, the singer has also curated a selection of his favourite tunes for a playlist which is available on www.stregis.com/jazz.
Mandarin Oriental & Art Basel Hong Kong
For four years running, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong has partnered with the Art Basel show to offer guests a myriad of bespoke services that boasts artistic elements. From art-inspired menus in the Michelin-starred Mandarin Grill + Bar as well as in Pierre to art-inspired chocolates at The Mandarin Cake Shop and cocktails to art exhibitions and shows throughout the hotel, art lovers will be fully immersed with an intimate sensorial experience that is truly second to none.
