Titillate your tastebuds for adventure and fine dining 150 feet above ground
Are you adventurous, a lover of fine food and a thrill-seeker? If you've answered 'yes' to any one of the three, read on, because the latest dinner club to hit Kuala Lumpur knows no limitations.
From 1 August onwards, the famous Dinner In The Sky event will be sweeping food lovers off their feet (literally!) with an exquisite culinary feast 150 feet above ground, to the unbeatable view of the city's skyline, including the iconic KL Tower and PETRONAS Twin Towers.
The month-long gastronomic event will see diners, a table, waiting staff and a five-course spread by Hilton Kuala Lumpur lifted in the air with a crane just next to KL Tower, twice daily for dinner. Voted as one of the world's Top Ten Most Unusual Restaurants by Forbes magazine, the concept has made its mark in iconic locations around the world, such as The Las Vegas Strip, The Marina of Dubai, the Villa Borghese in Rome and the beach of Copacabana, Brazil.
If dining while dangling high in the sky might cast a woozy spell on you, fret not as safety measures are taken very seriously: guests will be strapped into their seats with safety belts, while the standing presenter and crew will be safely harnessed throughout the course of the 'flight'. Prior to takeoff, a safety supervisor will brief patrons on safety regulations and will stay in constant communication with the crane operator and ground crew. All safety equipment has been approved by German organisation TÜV SÜD, and approved by DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety & Health Malaysia).
Tickle your five senses and pull along your loved ones for this not-to-be-missed, one-of-a-kind experience. Tickets for Dinner In The Sky Malaysia are priced at USD 157, and is organised by 2Spicy Entertainment.
