Swiss watch brand expands on local shores with new store in KLCC
Ever since Omega opened the doors to their first Malaysian boutique in Starhill Gallery in 2006, the brand has maintained a strong foothold in the retail scene on local shores. Now, just a little over a decade on, the Swiss watch brand has opened its fourth boutique in Malaysia.
The new outlet housed within the prestigious Suria KLCC stands as an important part of Omega’s retail strategy. The new retail location also reflects the increasing popularity of the Swiss watch brand in the region and further strengthens Omega’s relationship and commitment to Malaysia's luxury market. The opening of the outlet, which also coincided with the Lunar New Year, was officiated by guest of honour Dato’ Sheila Majid on 6th February 2017. “Omega has established a strong presence in Malaysia and has enjoyed an excellent reception for the last eleven years,” expressed Omega President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann. “We are looking forward to sharing our full range of products with them in this true house of Omega.”
The Grand Opening celebration was accompanied by a traditional lion dance performance to further heighten the joyous Lunar New Year celebration mood. The newly-designed boutique carries an extensive range of watches, fine jewellery, quality leather goods and sunglasses for both women and men from Omega.
The new Omega KLCC boutique has been designed according to the brand’s global concept, which is inspired by the natural elements of air, water and sunlight. The cream and champagne interior, with exotic reconstituted zebra wood furniture and chiselled glass surfaces, underline the attention to detail and quality for which Omega has long been known.
With a team of professionally-trained sales associates, the new boutique will offer an elegant and comfortable shopping experience for watch aficionados.
