Royal Selangor launches latest Star Wars collection
Royal Selangor has revealed their latest additions to their Star Wars collection at the Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 held last month.
Executive Director Yong Yoon Li was on hand to announce the launch of their new collectibles to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the epic franchise, including a Limited Edition Gold Plated Millennium Falcon model, a Lightsaber document holder and a TIE Fighter model.
The Limited Edition Gold Plated Millennium Falcon, limited to 200 pieces worldwide, is an online exclusive and will only be available for purchase from 4th May 2017 starting 12:00 midnight (Kuala Lumpur/Singapore time) on a first-come-first-served basis. Held at the Orange County Convention Centre, Florida, Lucasfilm’s Star Wars Celebration Orlando is the definite convention for fans as it celebrates all facets of the franchise. The four-day convention is packed with non-stop Star Wars entertainment including interactive exhibits, panels, screenings, and shopping.
This year’s event was attended by some of the stars of the saga’s history including Mark Hamill, Felicity Jones, Hayden Christensen and Billy Dee Williams. There was also a special tribute to the galaxy’s beloved princess, the late Carrie Fisher.
