New restaurants enhance the ever-popular dining scene in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur
The affluent residential suburb of Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur is also a well-known hub for some of the city's best restaurants and eateries. With our recent explorations, we've discovered four of Bangsar's newest additions to the suburb's list of flavours.
Japanese ramen restaurant chain IPPUDO launched the IPPUDO Bar, which offers authentic Japanese alcohol including a wide range of sakes and award-winning Japanese whiskeys. IPPUDO Bar also features a dedicated bar menu serving Japanese-inspired food such as crispy sushi pinchos and camembert cheese tempura, and other Japanese staples like sashimi and sushi rolls. IPPUDO Bar's trained mixologists and bar staff can recommend and highlight which food pairings are best suited for your drink choices.

LA/PA is the play on the Malay word 'lapar', which means hungry. LA/PA's menu features a range of western dishes that are available from breakfast to night time and are made with fresh ingredients. Some of the more notable dishes include Duck Eggs In Purgatory, Quinoa Burger, LA/PA Fried Chicken Wings and Jalapeno and Cheddar Croquettes.

Fatto A Mano
Fatto A Mano (“made by hand” in English) is a new casual Italian cuisine restaurant that serves traditional pastas, Italian breads, paninis, bruschettas, pizette (small thin crust pizzas) and desserts. The restaurant is styled in casual and modern decor with white brick walls, complete with a bar, a long yellow banquette and wooden tables and benches with a seating capacity of 70 pax. Fatto A Mano's kitchen is led by Head Chef, Frank Denis Ruidavet who is trained at a Michelin starred restaurant. The menu offers Italian classics including Grass Fed Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio, Prosciutto Crudo and Margheritta Pizzette and Handmade Cannelloni with Spinach and Ricotta Cheese.

Atelier is an expansion of YEAST Bistronomy in the effort to reinforce their popular line of French artisanal breads and pastries to cater for the increasing demand of customers. At Atelier, customers will find a variety of French breads, tarts and danishes (viennoiseries) as well as experimental breads incorporating a variety of ingredients, all developed using the same traditional methods.
