3. Kuala Lumpur: An opera for the ages
After more than 20 years, Puccini’s Turandot returns to the Malaysian stage. KL City Opera, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur, presents the spectacular opera at klpac from 17–25 October. Led by conductor Alessandro Mazzocchetti, it features sweeping orchestral music, monumental choruses and the iconic Nessun Dorma, with Kel Wen of Behati shaping its visual identity through costume design and artistic direction.
