New attraction to open in Sheraton Okinawa Sunmarina Resort
Guests looking for a bit of adrenaline-pumping action in Okinawa can now look forward to Panza Okinawa at the Sheraton Okinawa Sunmarina Resort. Set to begin operations on 27 January 2017, the attraction will consist of a Zip Line and a Free Fall experience.
Guests can enjoy a refreshing dive toward the sea on a 250-m-long “MegaZIP,” which stands as Japan's longest zip-line along the coast. Participants will start from a 13-meter-high deck and fly above the sea at more than 30 kilometers per hour.
Participants can feel the large scale of the sky and the sea with a seabird's-eye view. A double line will allow a participant to enjoy “MegaZIP” with a friend or their partner. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sea and the beach.
Panza Okinawa’s “GoFALL”, experience is a new type of free-falling activity in which participants will dive from a 13-meter-high deck toward the ground. Participants will get to experience the sensation of free falling from a sixth floor of a building. While falling, enjoy the excitement of a vertical dive.
The addition of Panza Okinawa further enhances the appeal of the Sheraton Okinawa Sunmarina Resort. The resort, which was recently expanded in December 2016 will also add a new Sunset Bar and Terrace in the near future.
Other facilities currently being added include a new wellness center with an indoor pool, gym, communal bath, family bath, spa and beachside cafe as well as a restaurant and a chapel for the most memorable ocean view wedding ceremonies in Okinawa.
