1. Endau Rompin National Park
This incredible national park is a beautiful way to spend a day – or a few. 2. Kota Tinggi Firefly Park
Board a river cruise in the evening to take in one of Johor’s most beautiful sights – fireflies along the river. Get there early to enjoy sunset along the river first, then enjoy a leisurely cruise through the mangroves with fireflies lighting up the night sky. 3. Gunung Pulai
This mountain is a fun but challenging climb for anyone looking to do more than get a few steps in. A steep 6km trek, Gunung Pulai offers plenty of rewards along the way, with several waterfalls including the popular Pulai Waterfall and Gunung Pulai Recreational Forest surrounding it. 4. Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark
Whether you’re travelling with younger or older kids, they’ll be happy at Desaru Coast’s extensive Adventure park. The Waterpark itself boasts 5 zones to cater to different age groups and skill levels, with rides and attractions big and small.
