European Film Music Festival

The city of Krakow will be hosting Europe’s largest celebration of film soundtracks this May. The 9th edition of the Film Music Festival features famous motifs from Roman Polański's films, jazz deconstructions of Hollywood's Golden Age hits as well as film and game soundtrack premieres. Also on the cards are compositions for animated cinema hits and world-famous film and music stars. A key highlight is the Alter FMF Gala: Drone Sounds that boast famous motifs by composers dubbed the new wave of Hollywood film music.
Metronome
Where: Prague, Czech Republic

The City of a Hundred Spires adds another accolade as one of Europe’s largest music festival sites this year. The first edition of the Metronome will transform the capital’s Vystaviste Holesovice exhibition grounds into a grand musical stage, hosting some of the world’s biggest headlining acts. Legendary singers like Iggy Pop, the Foals, and popular indie rockers The Kooks are the main headliners of Metronome, joined by a stellar roster of European bands and artistes. In true festival style, the two-day event promises visitors with great traffic accessibility, comfortable accommodation or camping right in the municipal park of Stromovka.
Summer Jam Tokyo

New York's biggest hip hop festival is coming to Japan! HOT 97 Summer Jam Tokyo is a monumental expansion of the music event, positioning Japan as the world’s first country outside of the United States to host the festival. Ever since the inaugural New York Summer Jam of 1994, the event has carved a reputation of being one of the biggest events around, attracting New Yorkers and fans of hip hop culture worldwide. Music fans can look forward to performances by some of the hottest names in the genre, influential DJs from HOT 97, and some of the biggest acts in Japan.
BMW Centenary Show
Where: Munich Olympic Park, Germany

Premium German automaker, BMW, is geared for a 100-year anniversary celebration in a big way. Running under the motto ‘The Next 100 Years’, the centenary celebrations will culminate in a three-day festival at the iconic Munich Olympic Park. The event will see a BMW Festival Night of musical presentations ranging from classical to pop, courtesy of an array of renowned international artists and groups. Scheduled to perform are the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, Eva Lind, Peter Kraus, Lena, Simply Red and Sunrise Avenue.
