Scheduled to open on 18 June 2021, Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill marks the British chef and restauranteur’s first-ever restaurant in Malaysia
Needless to say, British restauranteur and chef Gordon Ramsay is a household name – and come June 2021, fans of the celebrity chef can make their way to his new restaurant in Sunway Resort.
Scheduled to open on 18 June 2021, Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill marks the Michelin-starred chef’s first-ever restaurant in Malaysia, and the concept’s first international outpost. According to the hotel website, Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill will offer a “varied all-day menu”, much like its original restaurant in Mayfair. There will also be a cocktail hour at the bar and diners can look forward to his signature dishes Beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding.
The restaurant’s buzz-worthy opening is part of Sunway Resort’s ongoing extensive rejuvenation plans. The stylish restaurant, located on the resort’s lobby level, will feature contemporary furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows, offering unobstructed views of Sunway Lagoon and a private dining room. Hotel guests will also get enjoy an all-inclusive breakfast there.

This isn’t the restauranteur’s first opening in Southeast Asia. In recent years, he’s opened a variety of restaurants in the region, including casual diner Bread Street Kitchen in Singapore Marina Bay Sands. Unfortunately, three of his Hong Kong concepts – Maze Grill, Bread Street Kitchen and London House – ceased operations permanently last year.
